I needed a metal bike rack sandblasted at short notice, and they did it the next day. The finish looks amazing. Alberny Restorations sandblasted beams and other wood work in our house. The timber had unfortunately been stained in a previous decade, and I didn't want to sand down the wood, which would lead to loss of character/features. I was concerned that sandblasting would be to harsh on the timber, but the result is excellent. The wood has been restored to an authentic colour/aesthetic with minimal impact from blasting (there is a slight amount of raising of grains in the wood, but I've managed to sand those back without losing character of the wood). The team from Alberny were great work with in the lead up, professional on the day, and did a good job cleaning up. Alberny do a good job of prepping you to move soft furnishings out of the rooms to be blasted in as the dust does tend to get everywhere, and my advice would be to take them at their word and remove as much as you can from the room in which blasting will take place, and cover with throws etc. as much as you can in adjoining rooms.
